Engineering Center UES (JSC “EC UES”) was founded by merging Russia’s oldest scientific and design institutes.
Engineering Center UES comprised such major constituent companies as Institute Hydroproject, Geodynamic Research Center for Power Industry (TsSGNEO), Complex Research Expedition №5, Institute Teploelectroproject, Nizhegorodskiy Teploelectroproject, Firm ORGRES. Some of them can boast a 90-year history of working in thermal power, hydraulic power, electrical and thermal grids. They have designed over 80% of all heat power plants and all hydroelectric power stations of our country, successfully implemented dozens of projects abroad, many of which are the world’s unique engineering developments.
Today Institute Teploelectroproject and Firm ORGRES are separated from Engineering Center UES as independent legal entities, but companies keep on collaborating and interacting in project execution. All constituent companies work as a whole in implementing projects of any size and complexity.
Now Engineering Center UES renders a full range of design, engineering and maintenance services in construction, modernization, and reequipment of power facilities with regard to electric grid construction and heat power engineering.
Engineering Center UES employs state of the art technology, most advanced methods of organization and management, which is confirmed by ISO 9001:2008 certificate.
Engineering Center UES has long-term strong relations with both Russian and foreign leading companies working in the power market. Close interaction with partners enables the company to successfully implement complex joint projects, including turnkey projects. The company offers general contractor’s and EPCM contractor’s services, performs general management of subcontracting companies and has a single management and responsibility center. The company has sufficient expertise and competence to perform all engineering work at complex power facilities of thermal generation and grid construction.
